dopemunk: Hiding in plain sight.

I would just like to point out that Pfloide's article on the nonexistent and thus highly classified mauve room is the 5th hit on google for this phrase.

Nice cover up, buddy.

kallisti: MOO

Geepers, I am living almost as far south in the US as Hound once was! I just noticed that this community exists, and thought I would pop in and say hello!

Hope all is well with everyone!

It is the opinion of the office of the Cardinal Richelieus of MOO (through unanimous vote) that the canonization of MOOist saints should become a major issue at this time. Many MOOists have been struck by imaginary semi trucks in recent years and should thus be canonized the level of Saint, Fourth Class.

I would nominate Reverand Canoe Head to be the first person nominated before the canonization committee on this day. Although Abacab has also been forwarded as a potential Saint, the QuackBLATTT heresy still besmirches his reputation, and instead of canonization I recommend THAT HE BE BURNED AT THE STAKE LIKE THE DUCK-WORSHIPPING HERETIC THAT HE IS. Ahem.

That is all

d20hound: Now here is a kid who knows the secret truth.

from Dopemunk's prior post linking to : http://www.wired.com/news/culture/0,1284,62667,00.html?tw=wn_culthead_3

----
Eight-year-old Jason Fortell bought in a cardboard box containing a large burnished shell and a collection of well-gnawed bones that he figured were either "dinosaur or cavemen bones. Or maybe even a saber tooth tiger's bones."

Gently told that the shell was the recent remains of a common box turtle and the bones came from a cow of equally modern vintage and had obviously been enjoyed by at least one dog, Fortell was undaunted.

"Cows are cool animals," Fortell said. "And so are turtles. This is good stuff I have here."

----

So, I hereby nominate Sir Jason Fortell of New York to be canonized as a new saint of MOOism.

1. SWEET. It's the rare St Tib's Day today!

2. Just thought I should take this auspicious day (St Tib's Day) to say that I finally got off my Cardinal Richelieu ass and have added this community to my list.

---

I find it humourous that Disciple Greg, who worked so hard to get promoted (to the point of actually attempting to renounce the church seven years ago, resulting in his startling promotion) is the one who ended up opening this community, thus demoting himself once again to the Dinner Circle of MOO.

Kevin Vortex left a comment about a month ago that I missed until now, and I assume everyone else did as well:

"Hey how goes the grate and holy church ov MOO?
I still live and havent been devoured by the grate prophet for many years. I also have a blog. (http://www.vortext.net/)

could you get packetman and floyd to get in touch with me? They can leave a comment on my blog if they want."

Incredulously, he also made the subsequent comment "Fido was nice. I would ditch all of my movies and porn to get the good ol' days of fido back.", leading me to believe the poor boy is watching pornography of exceptionally inferior quality.
